The Post Master General will consider readmitting the Freeman's Journal to the mail when it manifests proof of good faith, similar to those given by the Journal of Commerce, which paper put its columns under the control of a man whose loyalty was not doubted. The papers McMaster sent to the Post Office Department are entirely sufficient. It gives them more satisfaction to remove the prohibition against the circulation of the Freeman's Journal than it did to impose it.
