He has received Brute's letter postmaked February 6. He can imitate Brute in mixing his English and French. He has not received the $200 dollars but he has received a letter from Bishop William Louis DuBourg of New Orleans of November 15 last that Gabriel can draw on him a draft at six days sight. He intends to do so and would also add a few words of Greek. He would find the words gift and thanksgiving in any language. Bishop Edward Dominic Fenwick has sent him $50. :: II-3-o
