Bishop Leray thanks McMaster for his remembrance of him through the telegram of Sept. 15. The coming day he will begin his travels alone through the primeval woods of Northern Louisiana. Mrs. Linehan is going to Ireland and would like to be a correspondent for the Ave Maria. She is going directly to Knock where she hopes to be cured of rheumatism. To cut down expenses, she will write a weekly letter from Ireland, if acceptable to Hudson. This should increase the circulation of the Ave Maria in Davenport, where she is well known. Fathers L.
