Father John Zahm called at "McGee's" office and tried to give Egan a description of Hudson, but all that Egan got was that Father Hudson is younger than Egan had imagined. He is very much shocked to know that the paragraph gave Seton such pain. He trusted a young gentleman to make up the column, and Egan was surprised to see how it had been done. He has concluded that it will give the "Joke"too much importance to notice it at all. He thanks Seton for his contribution. He dropped the man who wrote it into another berth and he has written Bishop (Winand Michael) Wigger for the name of a man he recommended lately.
