What is meant by the branch business Chrysostom does not know, unless it is that he sent money for the Dome and completion of the church. He feels that he is faithful to the community and that he has given sufficient evidence of it. He called on Father Joseph Gallagher ; he said Father Augustine Gallitzin died in 1840 and that his brother Hugh Gallagher took charge of the parish in 1844. Joseph Gallagher used the vestments that he says were used by Gallitzin. Cobb and she gave him to send to Hudson the dead body of a seal, an account book of George Washington during the 8 years he was President, and a sombrero. Father N. Congiati, Superior of the Society of Jesus on the West Coast, sends his compliments to the Ave Maria and Hudson. He wishes to know whether or not it was the Holy Cross Fathers at Notre Dame who had received the faculties of blessing beads with 500 days indulgences.
