The account of the clothing of Sister Teresa of Jesus is so well done in the Baltimore Mirror that Egan can add little to it. Miss Helen McMaster was a beautiful girl, and a good musician. Her sister is Sister Saint John of the Order of the Holy Childhood at Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. The "Gerta" contains numerous risque things. Egan doesn't understand Eliot Ryder . He asks Hudson to call Ryder's attention to a sketch of the "Folgore", which appeared in the last issue of Fortnightly Review. Some of Ryder's points were excellent. If he had been home he would have thanked Hudson sooner for his letter and money in payment for his sonnet, "Cui Bono". As soon as he writes an acceptable article he will send it to the Ave Maria.
