The collection consists of one and a half boxes of black and white negatives. The majority were taken for the student publications Scholastic magazine and the Dome yearbook. The photograph archivists made identifications in the finding aids where the photos were found to be published.

The images depict University events, student life, campus buildings, academics, sporting events, alumni events, faculty, staff, and other institutional departments.
