The remainder includes miscellaneous 19th-century court and business records from elsewhere in Mississippi, and from Louisiana, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Included in the collection is a manuscript diary recording Foote's experiences from 1866 to 1869 in Alaska (its first 19 months as a U.S. territory) and from 1869 to 1871 in the Department of the Platte.
