Browne, Mary Josephine, Yonkers, New York, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1891 March 10

 Item — Box: CHUD 15
Identifier: CHUD X-3-m

Scope and Contents

At the last meeting of the Cathedral Library Reading Circle, Father J.H. McMahon said he was going to see about having the Ave Maria placed on Poole's Index. Browne hopes Hudson will approve of her article in the Catholic Review. She has grateful feelings for the late Oliver B. Bunce. He predicted a brilliant future for Marion J. Brunowe Browne. It took a second reader to put forth objections. Browne has a letter from old William Appleton which is worth keeping. The convent cousin is Sister Mary Austin, who signs herself "A Sister of Mercy." :: X-3-m A.L.S. 4pp. 16mo.
