The weather is maddening; Stoddard and Reginald Birch spend all their time in their room.Jeremiah Lynch, who has written the last book on Egypt, is to present a mummy to the Bohemian Club in Frisco. Joaquin Miller will read a poem. The mummy is supposed to be the daughter of Pharo ? who found Moses. Lynch asks Stoddard for some lines-his message to the club. Stoddard sends one of the stanzas on a separate leaf. The Poor Soul's Advocate is begging him to contribute. :: X-3-l A.L.S. 6pp. 16mo.
