Reinhard, Al T., St. Joseph's Seminary, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1890 September 5

 Item — Box: CHUD 15
Identifier: CHUD X-3-l

Scope and Contents

Reinhard asks for some books. Reinhard, a foreigner only seven months in this country, asks to be allowed to make a few remarks on the article by Father Reuben Parsons on Alexander VI. It is hardly possible to deny that he led a "Wild life" for a time of his youth. Leonetti tries to do this but Ludwig Pastor admits that there are proofs in the Vatican Archives that Plus II blamed Cardinal Borgia for his immoral conduct. Reinhard asks if there has been any review of Liell's work on the pictures of Our Lady in the catecombs. :: X-3-l A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
