Copley, C. W., St. Paul, Minnesota, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1890 August 26

 Item — Box: CHUD 15
Identifier: CHUD X-3-l

Scope and Contents

When he heard from Brother Lawrence that Hudson was a convert Copley took the liberty of sending him a set of their publications and a copy of their prospectus. The Catholic Truth Society has been in existence only six months and they have already 200 members. Their aim is to give Protestants the truth in as gentle a way as possible. They hope to furnish jails with reading matter in the fall. Copley asks Hudson if he can say a good word for their work in his magazine. The Protestant papers have been very kind and have printed their statement free of charge. :: X-3-l A.L.S. 3pp. 4to.
