Welch saw Father Thomas E. Walsh ; together they had a visit from Father Timothy J. Danahy and Father Joseph B. Gallagher . Father Robert Fulton, S.J ., had made additions to Boston College. Their old friend Miss Carey is doing what she can for the fair. In Boston Welch and Father H. J. Shandelle, S.J ., visited Mrs. Dwight senior and Dr. Thomas Dwight and wife. Eulalie Iasigi wrote at Christmas time; she and Mamie Iasigi have bought a small house. Dr. Duan, Willie, is wonderfully successful but Welch's friend Andrew is bandly off. As soon as the five year partner ship with Edmund Kinney is over he will be left without any means of support. Father William P. Brett S.J. is now teaching philosophy at Woodstock. In the Archdiocese of Boston there is much activity in the parish schools which are large and well attended. The Sisters of Notre Dame of Namur are in charge of St. Mary's School and many others. He paid a visit to the University; Bishop John J. Keane was exceedingly courteous and showed him the house. He met Father Augustine F. Hewit Hewitt for the first time.
