Stoddard is sorry he came to Europe. He is bored, his malaria has reappeared and his spirits are at the lowest ebb. The people who accompanied him are a burden and he wants seclusion. He wishes he were at Monte Cassino. In two days Stoddard will leave for London. Since he has many friends there he may spend the winter there. :: X-3-h A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
