Mannix thought Hudson might like to read the editorial in the United Ireland, as representing the feeling of most of the Irish people. She does not fear Irish secession from the faith. Mannix presumes the Sunday Herald was sent to Hudson from Chicago. If all they say is true, San Diego has a great future before it. Mannix submits two book reviews and will forward a third when she gets Hudson's opinion. She does not known who Father "Zelus Animorum" is but he is neither wise nor well educated.
