Seymour, Mary Alice Octavia Hensel, Louisville, Kentucky, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1888 April 10

 Item — Box: CHUD 12
Identifier: CHUD X-3-g

Scope and Contents

Hensel thanks Hudson for the picture. The College of Music is a semi-fraud and hired her to come to Louisville by promises of a bona-fide endowed incorporated College. It is only a private business venture run by a Chicago business woman. She has resigned from the college and is giving private lessons. Hensel would like to secure a position in the Elocution Department of St. Mary's Academy. Her Easter story "From the Jura to Montserrat" reads well in print. She submits the second and third parts of her article on St. Ignatius. :: X-3-g A.L.S. 6pp. 12mo.
