Scope and Contents

Toohey is laying plans for constructing a new church at Taylor. Rain is needed by the farmers of his parish. Toohey plans to ask a society of Philadelphia ladies, who supply vestments to poor churches, to donate a set to his church. The mission church he cares for at Pine Oaks is short of vestments, but the farmers there are able, if they chose to pay for the churches needs. Many German families in his parish do not attend church and will not send their children to catechism. At Manor about 50 Mexican families assemble the first Saturday of each month to hear Mass. :: X-3-d A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
