Scope and Contents
Smalley sends the address of her aunt, Mrs. Julia C. Smalley . She is boarding with Dr. Gist 's family, whose daughter is determined to become a Catholic. The doctor is a cripple and Smalley requests that Hudson send a bottle of Lourdes water for she is certain he will be cured by it and be given faith to become a Catholic. She leaves to go to Cleveland August 25; on August 31 she starts for Columbus to spend a week at the State Fair as one of the Committee on Art. She remains undecided about going to Vermont in October until she hears from her aunt. Her only income is the rent of her home is Jefferson. :: X-3-a A.L.S. 6pp. 16mo.
