Granger, C.S.C., Father Alexis, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1885?

 Item — Box: CHUD 7
Identifier: CHUD X-4-j

Scope and Contents

When Hudson brought the matter to the council, Granger opposed it, said it was as well to give up the Confraternity. When Granger saw that Hudson had always been opposed to having the Confraternity in the "Ave Maria", he thought it was as well to yield and make a trial. Assent of council members was given without much knowledge of the case. Father General was not so well convinced at the success of the change as Hudson supposes. Let the first Bulletin of the Confraternity be published. Father General will appoint the person to continue it. He is willing to drop the Confraternity entirely if Father General approves. :: X-4-j A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.
