Ryder, Eliot, Chicago, Illinois, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1884 November 10
Item — Box: CHUD 7
Identifier: CHUD X-2-n
Scope and Contents
From the way Hudson writes it seems he has lost all faith in Ryder. The truth was bad but misrepresented is worse. Ryder had to send his wife the money with which to come to Chicago, that is why he is without money. Ryder has promised his mother to come home. The expense is an obstacle and if Professor Joseph Lyons will get him a railroad pass Ryder will be grateful. :: X-2-n A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.
