Churchill, Harriet Hattie B., Dorchester, Massachusetts, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1883 September 26

 Item — Box: CHUD 5
Identifier: CHUD X-2-l

Scope and Contents

Churchill is going away for a little change. "History d'un denier d'or" can be translated as a story, eliminating the controversial remarks. If she translates "La Lizardiere," "Les Robineau" and "La Maison de Famille" for the Ave Maria, they will occupy ten or fifteen numbers. Due to poor eye sight Churchill cannot write as frequently as she wants to. Mr. Thomas Noonan, a Catholic publisher, asked Churchill for a book to publish. :: X-2-l A.L.S. 5pp. 12mo.
