Scope and Contents

Dorsey has applied for a pension for her son's service during the Civil War. She has been experiencing difficulty in furnishing evidence that her son died as the result of a disease contracted in the field. The pension will average $120 per annum, and about $2000 in arrears. Dorsey sends Hudson copy and intends to complete three more chapters. The Jesuits are delighted about Father Pye James P. Neale, S.J. Father H. C. Denny visited Nellie Ella Lorraine Dorsey to tell her that it was read the evening before at Gonzaga College before the Provincial and all the students. Has Hudson had a contribution from Mrs. Tucker at Burlington? Angie Dorsey is still in bed. The manuscript and letter were sent to Hudson today. :: X-2-k A.L.S. 6pp. 12mo.
