Seymour, Mary Alice, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1883 May 10

 Item — Box: CHUD 5
Identifier: CHUD X-2-k

Scope and Contents

Seymour has done her best to condense her two chapters into one, but finds that it cannot be done. Since Fra Angelico is the prominent Catholic painter of the XV century, she has dealt primarily with him. The trouble with Catholics in America is that they do not take an interest in Catholic art and literature. It may be that Mr. Galwey is correct, when he says he does not need articles on art, for people go to Protestants for this kind of reading. :: X-2-k A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
