Scope and Contents

She asks Hudson to forgive her delay in sending him New Year's greetings. She often thinks of her friends at Notre Dame and offers prayers for them. Their friend, Mrs. O'Brien, attributes her improved health to their prayers. She encloses 25¢ for Father Lambing's "Masses for the Dead", which she will pass on to a friend who does not believe it right to accept a fee for Masses for the dead. She prays daily to St. Joseph to send her a hundred dollars for Hudson next spring. She closes with thanks to Hudson for his kindness in continuing the Ave. :: X-2-k A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
