Mannix, Mary E., Cincinnati, Ohio, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C. S. C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1882 December 29
Item — Box: CHUD 5
Identifier: CHUD X-2-j
Scope and Contents
The sketch as appearing in the AVE MARIA is pleasing to Mrs. Mannix. Mrs. Mannix received the picture of Sister Rosalie five minutes after her baby girl was born. Hence, she named her Alice Rosalie Mary. She did not write because all the children had the measles, and her hands were full. Christmas was merry and gay in spite of everything. She speaks of the use of sacred pictures in the average Catholic household. :: X-2-j A. L. S. 4pp. 12mo
