He thanks Hudson for the compliments paid his "Papacy" article in the "Scholastic." He will have one on the death of Garibaldi in the next number. He has sent a story to the "Catholic World" but it will have to wait for six months to be published. He would like to dispose of it at once and if Hudson would care to consider it he will send it on. The story is purely secular but could be sprinkled with holy water if Hudson insisted.
