Howe, Frances R., Chesterton, Indiana, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1882 June 19

 Item — Box: CHUD 4
Identifier: CHUD X-2-i

Scope and Contents

Howe sends the check for Dr. Kilroy's five dollars. She did think of going to St. Mary's next week but she is not well. She asks Hudson to give her compliments to Mother Angela Gillespie . Dr. Kilroy writes he was so scared by Pearl that he could hardly sleep after reading the pamphlet. The consequences of what people say are often serious; so it was with the statement that Howe was like Daisy Garnet . When she was a child, many predicted Howe would terminate in reckless worldliness. :: X-2-i A.L. 2pp. 12mo. Incomplete
