Howe thinks the introduction to "Record of a Suffering Soul" appropriate. In Hudson's hands it will be a success, all 3000 copies. Hudson did right in putting his name on the copyright. She does not care about the form of the advertisement, so long as it appears in the Ave Maria. How strange that Doctor Hallinan should be with Father Aegidius Hennemann, O.S.B. . Howe wrote Father William Kilroy, he was surprised to receive her request concerning the "Record of a Suffering Soul". Daisy Garnett, because of her worldliness, has scandalized a number of people.
