Howe, Frances R., Chesterton, Indiana, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1882 February 16
Scope and Contents
Howe thanks Hudson for the copies of the Ave Maria and requests three copies of the number that contains Monsignor Foschi 's letter. She is sorry that one or two persons, who Howe does not care to mention, should not see that Foschi did not think it proper to address her personally. Howe received the Scholastic containing the article she wrote at the behest of Mother Angela, but it should not have been published since it is not her style of writing. She asks Hudson to quote a price for the "Record" which she wrote, that she might tell her friends, so that they will buy the remaining copies. Howe requests Hudson send copies of the treatise on Purgatory. She has never seen Bishop William Ullathorne work; does it give the history of the discussion. :: X-2-i A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
