Hudson should send the books by express to Porter Station. Regarding the "Record" Howe says Hudson may do whatever he wishes with it, for this will honor Rose Howe 's memory. Howe encloses a translation. Father H. Geiger is known in South Germany as the author of "Lydia", he devotes himself to composing classic literature for Catholic youth. Geiger led the South German pilgrimage, which in 1871 went to Rome to protest against the movement in behalf of Johann Dollinger to Pope Pius IX. She requests a copy of the Ave Maria containing an account of Louise Lateau . Howe has recovered from her fall and wishes Father Ernst Van Dyke would recover from his. She asks where she can get an original of "Rosa Ferrucci" which appeared in the Ave Maria.
