Canedo, Margarita J., Goshen, Indiana, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1880 January 22

 Item — Box: CHUD 2
Identifier: CHUD X-2-f

Scope and Contents

Miss Canedo hopes that Mother Angela explained the reason of delay in sending the translations. She sends a penciled copy of the sketch of Father de Noue's labors and death in the missions of New France, North America. It is the hardest translation Miss Canedo has ever done as the French of 250 years ago used obsolete words. At first she was going to give up but asked Our Lady to aid her in writing of a saint and a martyr. :: X-2-f A.L.S. 4 pp. 8vo
