Scope and Contents

Miss Howe wants Hudson to send a copy of the April 13th number of the Ave Maria as their copy form St. Catherine's has not been forwarded. Frances Howe wants the "cis" on her first name changed to "ces" on the address of the Ave Maria. She has been arguing with Kelly, Piet, Co. about this and is afraid that her book will come out with a man's name. The interior scaffolding in the Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart is being removed. Miss Howe received a notice from Washington stating the the unfinished state of her copyright and is wondering if Mr. Anna H. Dorsey had to send two copies of the Ave Maria to the Washington library whenever her stories appeared. She answered that it would probably be better to let matters stay as they are and get a new copyright for her book. She asks Hudson if it would be possible to obtain two complete sets of the Ave Maria containing the article on Louise Lateau, now that two years have elapsed. Rose took the journey from St. Catherine's to St. Mary's very well, and the Sister say that she has improved since her arrival. :: X-2-d A.L.S. 3pp. crown 8vo.
