Gibbons says that whatever claims that Murphy had on the translation of the "Faith of our Fathers" he has surrendered. He says that he has offers similar to that of Hudson's in regard to some German translation that was suggested last summer. He wants to know on what terms Hudson will publish the translated edition, with Hudson taking care of all expenses. 40,000 copies of the English edition have been sold since December, 1876.
