Letters. 2 letters to Gordon from Peter with an attached report and biography. 1 return letter from Gordon to Peter. ~ Peter writes to Gordon the first time (5/8) to ask him if he would contribute to a book that Peter is putting together. He want Gordon to write a short story about Franz Jaegerstaetter and his pacifism. He includes a biography of himself so that Gordon will know more about him since they have never met. Peter's second letter (8/7) asks Gordon to reconsider whether he can be a contributer and tells him that the deadline has been moved back. He also asks Gordon to ba an advisor on this project. He includes a progress report of how far along the contributions and the book is coming. Gordon replies (8/18) that he may be able to contribute a story if he has enough time before the deadline, and that he does not want to overcommit himself, so he can be an advisor only if it is to offer the occasional suggesstion. ~ see above
