Letters. Correspondence back and forth between Gordon and Tom ~ 5/29--Gordon writes Tom wishing him a speedy recuperation from his illness. He says the UNSSD demonstrations went well and the Catholic participation was gratifying, making the largest showing of any group there. He says the Merton symposium in Vancouver was also successful, and writes about the financial situation for his trip to Belfast as a CPF participant. 6/7--Tom says he is feeling better, that all events went off well without him, and that he doesn't see a problem in the financing of the Belfast meeting. He says the statement issued by the Boston Archdiocese Justice and Peace Commission is encouraging, although he has some disagreement with the arguments about the neutron bomb. 7/5--Gordon mentions the finances for Belfast again, saying he will contribute back the costs. He says the meetings were interesting, and he was evacuated from his hotel in Belfast due to a bomb threat. He refers to the neutron bomb issue and the irony of the save building / kill people approach.
