Letter. Peace Education Staff ~ Katherine Knight writes Jim Forest of Fellowsip of Reconciliation in strong disagreement to the coverage of the signed "Appeal to the Government of Vietnam." Gordon writes to Katherine regarding her letter and her views. ~ 11/30--Katherine says she is appalled that the consequences of the Appeal in our own country were not considered. She thinks it will cause more division and anger in a time when repentance and reparations after the war are needed and necessary. She points out the massive amounts of ills caused to the Vietnamese by our country, and defends their slow progress toward reparations. 12/5--Gordon writes to Kathy saying that he approved the Appeal enthusiastically. He says that any acts or policies he considers evil must be opposed, even if the opposition is distorted or misinterpreted.
