A 2-page letter to Gordon Zahn. ~ Thomas thought that he had both acknowledged and proffered preliminary thanks for Gordon's superb Foreword until he received Gordon's letter and apologizes for not doing so. He enclosed a set of page proofs and says that Eerdmans expects the book out in early October. Thomas adds that he is trying to gather all pertinent information on the military chaplaincy and asks for his opinion and for any leads or relevant literature.
