Jim says he thinks this is a mistake of translation, but he wants to clarify and he offers a defense of pacifism. 2/4--Jim writes to Gordon thanking him for his contribution and tells of his disappointment with the Pope's peace statement. He says that a copy of the letter he sent to the Pope is enclosed and he hopes for a response. He says that Gordon's article for THE PILOT was good and he should circulate it to other publications. He says he does not know of potential donors for a Franz Jaegerstaetter play.
