Letter. Letter to Gordon about his Jaegerstaetter book ~ Jim says he has finished about half of the Jaegerstaetter book and compliments Gordon, saying that it is well put together with openness and a good balance of sociological and biological features. He says he will put together reviews for it. He says that the Jaegerstaetter film was handled admirably and asks for a photo of Jaegerstaetter. He is appalled at the cowardice and secrecy of the Church and says he has been thinking about Christian war theory, and sees it flowing toward a De Chardinian "noosphere." He asks for Gordon's reaction to this view. He suggests that Christian doctrine should develop to a position of non-violent resistance and a CPF booklet should be done on this theme.
