Abstract

The collection consists of manuscripts, letters, articles by Chesterton, as well as articles about him, photographs, and drawings. In addition to the material described in this finding aid, the collection also includes over 2,000 books and periodicals that have been cataloged separately.

Scope and Contents The majority of the collection is composed of digital audio recordings of annual talks given by Gustavo Gutiérrez at the Jornadas de Reflexión Teológica and the Curso de Teología in Lima, Peru, between 1971 and 2020. From 1971 to 2000 these conferences were organized by the Department of Theology of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and, from 2000 to 2020, by the Instituto Bartolomé de las Casas (Lima, Peru).
