This collection documents the activities of the Charabanc Theatre Company, active from 1983-1995.The Charabanc Theatre was founded in Belfast, Northern Ireland by five actresses: Eleanor Methven, Marie Jones, Carol Scanlan (Moore), Brenda Winter, and Maureen McAuley. Eleonora Petrovna Gomberg-Verzhbinskaia was a well known art critic and historian of art, and the collection consists of documents, diaries, correspondence, written drafts, photographs, books, and slides. Gomberg's daughter, Nina Rabinowich, is a practicing artist, and her husband, Boris Rabinowich, was an important non-conformist artist.
