Father Joseph Strub has written to him that he has his exeat from the Congregation of the Holy Ghost but that it will be necessary to indicate the diocese to which he will be incorporated. He regrets to inform Purcell that it will be necessary for him to leave the diocese and seek a bishop who will receive him. He asks Purcell's paternal advice in this matter.
