Corrigan, Michael Bishop of Newark, Newark, New Jersey, to ARchbishop John Baptist Purcell, Cincinnati, Ohio, 1875 April 19
Scope and Contents
He delayed answering Purcell's letter in hopes of giving information regarding the proposed Protectory. He has failed to get any other brothers for the project. It is wonderful that Purcell can work so much and endure so many fatigues. He passed through Lent very well and the long Ceremonies of the Consecration of the Cathedral. He hopes to receive Purcell in Newark. He has written to Mount Alverno to ask help for the Protectory. He sends regards to the Vicar General Father Edward Purcell and the other gentlemen at the Cathedral. :: II-5-f A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
