Scope and Contents

He hears that Father Martin Kundig, Father F.H. Krautbauer, and Father J. Salzmann have petitioned Rome to erect Milwaukee into an archbishopric, and that it is necessary for each Bishop to give Rome a basis to put this into execution. He would not like to see Michigan separated. He thinks that Detroit soon will be divided into two and that Detroit should be the archbishopric and Marquette a suffragan. What does Purcell think of it? :: II-5-f A.L.S. 1p. 12mo.
