Scope and Contents
At the request of Bishop James F. Wood of Philadelphia he acknowledges the receipt of $300, proceeds for the first half of the current year of the Foundations of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in the American College. He asks Purcell to send Mrs. SarahPeter w ord that Chatard has authentic documents regarding the body of St. Columba and that he awaits instructions. At present it is difficult to find a person going to America. The Cincinnati students are in good health. The Holy Father is in remarkably healthy condition and his spirits keep up well, considering the painful state of things in Rome. He asks to be remembered to Father EdwardPurcell, Father Francis J.Pabisch, former students, Mrs. Peter, Mrs. Potter and family, and to Mr. Jones. :: II-5-e A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
