He returned home last night after ten days absence and received Purcell's letter of Sept. 14, calling him to Cincinnati to meet the rest of the bishops of the Province on the 28th. He shall be there and is very glad of the opportunity of meeting Purcell again. His ride through the hills has done him immense good. P.S.
