As she was leaving yesterday to see Purcell, she received the news of her mother's death. She will try to see him as soon as possible on the subject of Bishop Sylvester H. Rosecrans' letter, for Rosecrans has been misinformed regarding something. She sincerely regrets that the breaking up of the Newark mission has been the cause of trouble to Purcell.
