He received Purcell's letter in regard to the Sisters of Charity. When Domenec saw the letter of the Mother that the Community was to be subject to the mother-house in Cincinnati, he did not answer because all the clergy are opposed to that measure. Domenec suggested that a few Sisters come to train the postulants and then return to Cincinnati. He had no answer to that letter.
