Today he received the letter of Purcell with the news of Bishop Ignatus Mrak's appointment. He hopes he will accept and make no delay in taking possession of his see. Jacker will be unable to attend the consecration because of difficulty and expense of travelling in winter. He cannot leave his missions unattended.
