He has been so busy with his Fair that he did not write to offer the usual felications of the New Year. His affairs are peaceful and prosperous. His two sisters are now with him. One will return in a few days to Washington. He made $600 on the fair. The Germans have improved greatly. The best joke of the season is that Young won the preacher's gown. The Presbyterian ladies had a contest for the most popular minister. Young had 80 more votes than their minister. :: II-5-d A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.
