Scope and Contents
He is glad Purcell received the money he sent by express for the Holy Father. He trusts that the Bishop of Covington George A. Carrell is fully recovered but he fears that he may have relapses of that kind from time to time. Since his health is good he will not postpone his visit to Rome any longer. He gladly accepts Purcell's offer to be his companion on the voyage along with the Bishop of Philadelphia James F. Wood. He asks to be informed of the time of Purcell's departure for Rome. :: II-5-c A.L.S. 1p. 8vo.
